- תְּלַח, תְּלַהּ 1) to tear apart, v. תְּלַע II. 2) to fall apart, v. infra. Ithpe. אִיתְּלַח to fall apart. Ḥull.53b כי הוו … הוה מִיתְלְחָא ונפלהוכ׳ Ms. R. (v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 400; Ar. מִיתְלְהָא; ed. תָלְחָא) when they lifted the lung up, it crumbled and fell in pieces.
